Newborn sessions are quickly becoming some of my very favorite sessions! How perfect is little Lilia? Big sister Addison was there to get in on the action as well and these two sisters are just adorable.

Thank you so much Foster family! You are fabulous. xoxo

The Talented Miss Shannon

15 Jun

Sometimes we come along people that we know instantly are just special and amazing. A warm buzz of positive energy surrounds Shannon and I was so happy to have worked with her for the Lululemon Ambassador photo series. Shannon has been teaching Yoga for ten years and currently teaches at BodySmith of Georgetown. While I have yet to take one of her classes, I know many who have and all say they love the compassion that Shannon brings to her teaching. She is an expert in breathing technique and I was so impressed that I wanted to put down my camera and practice right there!

Here is just a quick sneak peek from our session together!

Shannon thank you for such a wonderful and FUN session!! PS: To find out more about Shannon, click the link below the images 🙂

Sneak Peek: The Woodruff Family

11 Jun

I love redheads! My grandfather had blazing locks as a young man and I myself was a redhead for a few short months as a child ( I am sure it was red at some point in my teens too…not naturally, of course) When I met up with the Woodruff Family, I gasped at the cuteness of Josh and Gavin! I told Josh how much I loved his red hair but he insisted it was brown! As most redheads can probably attest, having freckles or different color hair opens the door for mindless teasing which is such a shame considering that a lot of people spend a lot of money to be “different.” But I digress…. 🙂

Danielle, herself, is a beautiful redhead and such an awesome mom! I met up with the Woodruffs at Meadowlark Gardens and we played with paper airplanes, a quick game of red light/green light, and when it got too hot, we checked out the lizards and rocking chairs inside!

Joel and Danielle, you are both amazing and thank you for spending the day with me and your beautiful family!
