Caroline & Jake: An Engagement Session

Hilarious, genuine, quirky, cute, fantastical…these are just a few of the words that I would use to describe Caroline and Jake! I had such a great time hopping around U St. with these two! They are such an amazing couple to be around and had me laughing and smiling throughout our session. It is so easy to see that Jake and Caroline are best friends and that their love is effortless.  They are both incredibly laid back so when I encouraged them to step up onto some dilapidated stairs, the man across the street had more of a problem with it then they did. Caroline and Jake have smiles that can light up any room but seem to light up brighter when they are looking at each other.

I have the honor of photographing their wedding in Jamaica this February (yes, I am PSYCHED!) and am so delighted to be a part of what is sure to be an incredible day!

The McLaughlin Family: Sneak Peek!

Wow!! There are so many sneak peeks to share with more on the way!! Here are a few of my favorites from my session at Great Falls Park with Connor, Mave, and Burke McLaughlin. It was FREEZING but everyone was in high spirits and we had so much fun checking out the falls and watching Burke do cartwheels. Connor even held a Corn Snake at the visitor center! Brave chap!
